Peterborough City Men waited until the last game of the season to notch their first win on the field. They blanked Scarborough Azzurri by a score of 3 – 0 on Friday night (September 25) at Eastgate Park in a game they controlled for long periods. Prior to the game, veteran player Franco Turnone was honoured by the club, his teammates and the fans in recognition of his 21 years of playing on the senior squad.
