2024 Annual General Meeting
The Peterborough City Soccer Association will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday December 7, 2024 in the Marv Buchan Soccer Centre (a.k.a. the clubhouse) at Eastgate Memorial Park. This meeting will consider operations since the previous AGM held in December 2023 as well as plans for the coming year.
Registration is from 9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Proceedings get underway at 10 a.m. sharp.
Elections
Elections will be held at the AGM to fill the following positions on the 2025 Board of Directors:
- President (two-year term, nominated: Dan Moore)
- Director of Development (two-year term)
- Director of Youth Teams (two-year term)
- Director of Fundraising / Promotions (two-year term, nominated: Leanne McLaughlin)
In accordance with the By-Laws, nominations for election as a Director must be submitted in writing by email or by post to the PCSA Administrator or the PCSA Secretary at least fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM, that is, by November 23. Nominations will be accepted from the floor at the meeting only if no one is nominated before the deadline and remains standing at the time of the election. All elected positions are for a two-year term.
Each Development squad (one mixed or one male and one female squad per division), each Youth team, each Senior team and each Director present shall have one (1) vote*. The current team head coach or their designate, who must be a team official for the team, shall cast the vote for the team. Any designated individual, other than the team head coach, must be identified in writing prior to the meeting. The coach or voting designate must be registered with PCSA in order to be eligible to vote.
*Directors whose positions are to be elected shall step down prior to the second roll call and shall not be entitled to vote as a Director in any of the ensuing elections.
