It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of a true friend of the club, Denise Moore, who died on April 9. In addition to being a devoted soccer Mom and team manager, Denise was best known as the friendly face behind the canteen counter at Eastgate Park for the past 12 years. Rain or shine, she was there to serve refreshments during the summer soccer camp, festivals and tournaments, family fun days, tryouts, senior games and most evenings whenever there was a game at the park. She made the best hot chocolate, many have said. Denise was named PCSA Volunteer of the Year in 2017. We offer our sincere condolences to her family whom she treasured.
