PCSA wishes to announce the installation of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at Eastgate Park. Its location in the passageway to the equipment room / referees room is readily visible from the sign affixed to the wall above the centre door on the north side of the building, facing the Forster pitch (Eastgate 1).
The purchase was made possible by a grant of $750 from the City of Peterborough and a contribution from the Peterborough Men’s Over 35 Soccer Club. It is very important for the Club to have an AED available on site to be better prepared to respond to the potential of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) during a sports event for athletes, patrons, staff, or volunteers, according to a PCSA press release.
