11 Peterborough City teams and 65 visiting teams took part in the Peterborough City Festival and Challenge Cup Tournament for Girls on June 7 – 8. Peterborough teams reached the finals in three of the five competitive divisions. The U15 Girls won their final game by a 1 – 0 score to claim first place in their division. The U14 Girls won in a shootout after their final game ended in a 0 – 0 tie in a very competitive division. The U13 Girls were runners-up, going down 1 – 0 in their final game.
