Twenty coaches and 60 players participated in day-2 of the Grassroots Coaching Workshop hosted by the PCSA and the OSA at the Spiplex on Saturday (January 17). FIFA’s Grassroots initiative is changing the way the game is taught throughout the world for U12 and younger players. The focus during these young years is on developing every player’s potential in four key areas, namely technical, physical, social and psychological. The players had fun while the coaches put into practice what they learned during the 2-day workshop. Expect to see many of these ideas applied to our training programs as we keep pace with best coaching practices.
