Twelve mens and womens teams competed in the 21st Annual Mark Forster Memorial Tournament at Eastgate Memorial Park on the weekend. Welland Buckner’s Sports won the Women’s trophy for the third year in a row thanks to a 2 – 1 win over Markham Strikers.
In the Men’s final, local team Soccer Plus Junction defeated Trenton Sockers by a score of 2 – 1.
