Congratulations to Spencer van Engelen and Nicholas Tripp, recently announced recipients of PCSA Mark Forster Scholarships for 2023. Both players are members of this year’s Peterborough City U18 Boys team and have a combined total of 16 years of playing with the club.
The Mark Forster Scholarship was established by the Peterborough City Soccer Association to commemorate the memory of Mark Forster, a former Peterborough City Men’s player who died tragically as the result of an illness in 1988 at the age of 25.
Mark’s parents, Margaret and Fred Forster, along with PCSA President Dan Moore and VP Angela Gaskell were on hand to make the presentation to Spencer (seen in photo) and Nicholas (who was represented by his grandmother) at Eastgate Park on Wednesday (August 30). We wish them and all PCSA high school graduates the best of luck in the coming year.
