The Peterborough City Soccer Association is thrilled to announce that Ontario Soccer has renewed the club’s Gold Club Excellence status for a further two years through to the end of the 2019 season. This follows an in-depth review by Ontario Soccer of the club’s commitment and performance in the key areas of technical, governance, personnel and community.
The Ontario Soccer Club Excellence Program identifies clubs that have adopted best practices in these four key areas. Technical standards are aligned with OS’s Long Term Player Development curriculum and recognize a club’s commitment to ‘live’ the award. The program uses a three-tiered approach (Bronze, Silver and Gold). The Gold Standard is awarded to clubs that meet the highest standard in all four key areas.
PCSA is one of only 32 Gold Standard Awardees in Ontario. The Club is immensely proud of its team of dedicated coaches, managers, administrators and volunteers who collectively have merited this prestigious recognition for the club.
