PCSC Women Compete in Ontario Cup

Eastgate Park will be the place to be on Sunday, August 11. At 11 a.m. our Senior Women’s team will take on the defending champions, King City Royals, in the quarter-final round of the Ontario Cup with the winner advancing to the semi-finals two weeks later. At 5 p.m. the Senior Men will play Scarborough Town in the OSL Regional East division.

The Peterborough women currently lead the Central Region East division of the Ontario Women’s Soccer League with a perfect record of 12-0-0 and have already clinched the division, with four games to spare, for the second straight year. King City compete in the OWSL highest Provincial division. “The Ontario Cup game on Sunday will be a good measurement to see if we can compete at the Provincial level next year”, says head coach Michael Everson. Go City!

The Men’s team has a season to date record of 3-2-5 (W-T-L) which puts them in 7th place out of 10 teams.
