The second annual PCSA Pink at the Pitch fundraiser in aid of cancer research took place at Eastgate Park on Saturday, July 26. Money was raised through a silent auction, a 50/50 draw, a bake sale, and food sales. There were several personal donations, including a contribution from the PCSA Senior Mens team. Club representatives Geoff Heale, Marv Buchan and Peter VanWensem recently visited the offices of the Canadian Cancer Society to drop off a cheque for $1,630.85. Ruth Brown and her organizing committee wish to thank everyone who helped to make the event such a huge success.
