The PCSA U11 (2009) Boys team visited the children’s ward at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday (November 22) where they donated a bumper crop of stuffed animals to the young patients there. The toys were purchased from the proceeds of the charity car wash the team held back in July when they raised over $1000 with all proceeds going to the PCSA Bears for Kids project. Bears for Kids is a community outreach program operated by PCSA to bring comfort to young patients at PRHC. They were accompanied on the visit by Coach Vic Waselenko and program patron “Coach” Marv Buchan.
Well done, U11 Boys! You make us proud.
