In keeping with their shared vision, Peterborough’s two soccer clubs with a focus on youth have agreed a joint initiative to bring top quality coaching to even more players. Peterborough Youth Soccer Club operates a community recreational league for players from age 4 to 18. Every PYSC registered player will have the opportunity to sign up for additional training throughout the summer with experienced Peterborough City Soccer Association certified coaches. The program will run on Saturday mornings at Eastgate park at no additional cost to the players. “This, we hope, will help us identify and support players who may be interested to play in a more challenging environment in future years, while providing valuable skills training and improving the soccer experience for everyone”, said PCSA President Dan Moore, when the program was announced.
