Peterborough City U13 Girls Maroon defeated Darlington Energy by a score of 2-1 at the Markham Sports Dome on Saturday (August 27) to claim the York Region Soccer League McGarrigle Cup. They defeated East Gwillimbury, Oak Ridges, Vaughan and Newmarket in earlier rounds of the knock-out Cup competition to reach the final. The team is coached by James Onusko and Craig Muir with Manager Deb Strain.
