Our U21 and Senior Women’s and Men’s teams showcase the highest level of amateur soccer in the region. Many of our senior players have progressed through the club from an early age while others have moved here recently to pursue a university/college education or a career.
The first Peterborough City Men’s team played in the Toronto and District Soccer League in 1980. The competitive Women’s program was added in 1990. Currently our U21 and Senior teams compete in the Ontario Soccer League and the Ontario Women’s Soccer League.
The playing season runs from May until mid-August for U21 teams and extends into September for the Senior divisions. The first round of tryouts are held in September for the following year’s team. Recruitment and training take place throughout the fall and winter leading to final tryouts in the spring.
